Hey y'all! Here are some pictures from this past weekend when we went to the Sunflower Farm Festival in Rutledge, Georgia. I found out about it through exploregeorgia.org (love this site!). The festival was super fun and very well-organized. Some of the highlights of our day included touring an early 1800s farmhouse, listening to some great music by The Rocky Creek Band and April Allen, checking out all of the neat vendor booths, zip-lining, meeting the nice folks from the Humane Society of Morgan County and adorable "Hugs" (who is available for adoption!), participating in the "Find the Tallest Sunflower Stalk" contest (Audrey took 2nd place!) and seeing all of the gorgeous sunflowers, of course! The festival is over :(, but you can still pick sunflowers until July 14th! I hope you enjoy the pictures!
